Spencer Rose writes young adult science fiction adventures exploring family, power, ethics, and the human cost of technology. Her stories often feature sapphic characters and centre emotional stakes alongside speculative worlds.
She is the author of the novella series The Biokin Chronicles and is currently working on her upcoming novel The Princess Thief. Her short fiction includes This Ocean Was a City Once, The Urvillion Pass, and The Last Flight From Naas.
Her short story This Ocean Was a City Once was shortlisted for the Aurealis Awards 2026.
